About the Program
The program integrates traditional therapeutic measures with modern medicine tools to create holistic wellness, outlining the impact of lifestyle on the prevention and treatment of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Foundational training on the fundamentals of mind-body-medicine is built upon with professional training in the skills of exercise management, yoga, and biofeedback therapy.
Students gain exposure through rotation between various clinical and nutrition departments. The students experience real-world settings with the knowledge of physiological assessments, individual/group coaching sessions, and goal-oriented health programs.
The program partners with the Benson Henry Institute of Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, to provide the internationally acclaimed SMART training (Stress Management and Resilience Technique) to students.
