The Division of Applied Psychology, Dept. of Behavioural Sciences (SRFAHS) commemorated World Mental Health Day with a series of events and activities on 20th October. With a theme of spreading awareness on the importance of Mental Health, 1500 flashcards with uplifting and inspirational quotes were distributed throughout the campus. 150 Mental Health themed 2024 calendars were distributed to SRIHER officials. A mime-drama, song and dance on the theme of mental health were performed by the students of UG Applied Psychology. The audience were invited to participate in games that demonstrated social concepts like conformity and cooperation. Psychological assessments using instruments were administered to interested audience members on various topics like personality, span of attention, dexterity, intelligence etc. 300 students and faculty members participated.
